Customer Pickup
Customers picking up a trailer are responsible for arriving with a properly equipped tow vehicle capable of safely towing the trailer being purchased.
Our team will make recommendations for the right tow vehicle and what towing capacity is required for the trailer being purchased. However, the final responsibility for safe towing equipment and vehicle capacity remains with the customer.
Before leaving, customers should verify:
- Proper ball size
- Hitch size and weight capacity
- Correct hitch height
- Brake controller operation (when applicable)
- Electrical connection and running light
- Tire condition and tire pressure
Customers should continue monitoring tire pressure during early travel, especially on aluminum wheels, as lug nuts may require rechecking after initial travel.
For safety reasons, Speed Warehouse Trailers reserves the right to refuse hookup or release of a trailer if the tow vehicle or hitch setup appears unsafe or inadequate for the trailer being purchased.
Dealership-Arranged Delivery
Speed Warehouse Trailers can often help coordinate delivery through independent third-party transport companies.
Delivery pricing varies depending on multiple factors, including distance, route, trailer size, and transport availability. Delivery costs are based on one-way mileage and are disclosed prior to transport arrangements being finalized.
Customers typically pay the independent transporter directly unless otherwise arranged in advance.
While we help facilitate communication between the customer and transporter, delivery services are performed by independent third parties, and delivery timing may vary due to weather, traffic, or other transportation-related factors outside of our control.
Customers should inspect the trailer upon delivery and report any concerns immediately.
Customer-Arranged Transport
Customers may also choose to arrange their own transporter or driver to pick up a trailer on their behalf.
In these situations, the customer's transporter or driver is fully responsible for proper hookup, towing equipment, transportation, and compliance with all applicable laws and safety requirements.
Speed Warehouse Trailers does not assume responsibility for customer-arranged transport once the trailer leaves the dealership.
